NMN: delays central nervous system aging

In January 2023, a research team from the Kobe Institute of Biomedical Research, the Tokyo Institute of Aging, and the School of Medicine at University of Washington published a study in NPJ Aging.

The team mainly studied the internal manifestation of central nervous aging and whether NMN can delay central nervous aging and how NMN works.

At the end of the research, they found that in aging animals, NMN was able to restore NAD+ to levels as in young ones in ventral and medial hypothalamus (injury causes obesity and gonadal atrophy) and lateral hypothalamus (responsible for appetite control and regulation of satiety), further proving that NMN is an effective anti-aging method.
