In postmenopausal women, some studies suggest that NMN may help improve a number of health indicators.

Researchers at Doshisha University in Japan have published the results of a clinical study: NMN supplementation in postmenopausal women 

can improve health indicators that decline with age, including metabolic and hormonal health, while improving indicators of skin aging.

Improves metabolic and hormonal health:

Clinical trials have shown that postmenopausal women who supplement with 300mg of NMN daily for eight weeks, without making lifestyle 

changes, have improved their metabolic and hormonal health.

NMN may improve glucose metabolism by increasing the concentration of HDL-C, a cholesterol associated with healthy metabolism. HDL-C 

helps transport excess cholesterol in the blood to the liver for breakdown and elimination.

NMN may also increase blood levels of DHEA-s, a "maternal hormone precursor" to the sex hormones estrogen and testosterone, and an 

increase in its concentration may indicate improved hormonal health.

Improve skin appearance:

NMN has a significant "anti-glycation" effect and can reduce the number of AGEs (advanced glycosylation end products) in the skin, which 

are associated with skin aging, and its reduction may indicate that NMN is beneficial for aging skin.

In clinical trials, participants reported an improvement in the condition of their skin, with fewer spots, lighter fine lines, and more moisturized skin

Improve other health indicators:

NMN may help improve sleep quality, make falling asleep easier, and improve sleep quality.

In clinical trials, participants also reported less fatigue, faster recovery and improved mental agility.

NMN may also be beneficial in repairing inherited genes (DNA) by producing the gene repair enzyme PARP1 to repair damaged genes.
